this album seems to have been a miss for some people in Chelsea's discography but I think it might be my favorite album of hers after Hiss Spun. I would say it's equivalent to How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful in Florence + the Machine's discography - a moodier, stormier, stripped back and atmospheric album that is still intricate and heavy in its own right, and a reminder that Chelsea Wolfe can go wherever she wants and do it well
